Reports
Treasurer’s Report
- The bylaws adopted at our last general membership meeting are now in effect and have been filed with the city.
- The Articles of Incorporation adopted at our last general membership meeting have been filed with the Arizona Corporations Commission.
- We have received a new EIN from the IRS.
- Since our gross revenue is under $5,000 per year, we are not required to file an IRS 1023 or 1023-EZ to qualify as a tax exempt organization as long as we comply with the requirements of a 501(c)(3) organization. We are filing an annual IRS 990-N.
- We established a new bank account for the organization with the current board of directors as “key executives” with control over the account.
- The latest financial statements are available here. Gross Income was $140 (membership dues), while expenses were $281.66 for a loss of $141.66. Cash in bank is $2,068.90. The newly adopted bylaws increased the membership dues, so we expect to not have a loss next year.
