Mitman NA Board Of Directors Meeting Notes, July 10, 2024

Action Items:

  1. Board will look over articles of incorporation– will be voted on in October
  2. Board will work on draft for newsletter (Harold – Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws/ Robin – Traffic circle and Bike Hawk and Ali – Intro, Mary Nod, Mini grants, red tags) Will be done on Google Docs
  3. Ali has emailed TCB about the GSI project, Ward 6 about liquor license, 5th street road diet/repaving, TDOT- status of paving project in Mitman, 

Updates:

  1. Bylaws wording has been approved by the city and will be submitted to a vote of the membership at the October meeting.
  2. EIN- Waiting for Articles of Incorporation to submit to IRS.
  3. Next meeting on August 14th.

Household Hazardous Waste and Shredding Saturday

HHW/SHREDDING EVENT THIS WEEKEND – The City of Tucson’s Environmental and General Services Department (EGSD) is hosting its monthly Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Event this Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m.-noon, at the Rodeo Grounds, 4823 S. 6th Ave. (enter on 3rd Avenue). City residents can drop off HHW, electronic waste, paper documents for shredding (limit 3 boxes), recyclables, and glass bottles and jars at no charge. Unknown chemicals will not be accepted. The event is free for City of Tucson residents with proof of address. Residents from Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, and unincorporated Pima County will be charged a $10 fee to drop off materials. EGSD hosts HHW collection events on the second Saturday of each month in different areas across Tucson. Follow the links below for more information.
